How To Saddle A Horse

"Instructions on how to saddle his horse."

Are you a new horse owner needs help on how to saddle your horse?

Unless you are willing to ride bareback, you must correct the saddle of your horse for your trip. To begin, you first need to groom your horse. The comfort of the horse, you want to make sure the coat is free from lumps of mud, dust or hair can be embarrassing in the saddle is mounted.

Do not let the wounds of a horse, or the RCA area. If you have saddle sores when using extra padding, or the circumference of the pad. While you may consider leaving the wounds heal before riding again.

Note: Saddle your horse is usually on the left (near side) of your horse.

Make sure the saddle pad is clean and free of dirt and is dry. Place the saddle pad well forward and pull the back of the horse, so the front of the plate is located just across the withers. Always wear on the carpet with horse hair and not against it to prevent hair from being aggregated under the carpet. Be sure to use a blanket big enough to show all the way around the outside of the saddle. Using too small of a carpet is not adequately protect your saddle horse and makes it very uncomfortable.

Before swinging the saddle the horse's back, the right stirrup and cinch the seat so as not to hit him and scare your horse. Hook the right stirrup on the pommel to hold it in place. Make sure you raise the seat high enough so that no components hit your horse. Carefully lower the saddle on the back of your horse. Place the saddle, so at least one inch of carpet in the front. Place the saddle too high on the carpet the carpet will get to work in the saddle while riding. The fork or swell should rest comfortably above the withers.

Then go to the right (offside) and lower right stirrup and cinch (not just throw them over so they blow on the side of your horse), and check that the belt is centered. Always keep the buttocks of a horse in hand when you walk around the other side so that your horse is aware of your presence. Once the saddle is on the mat, lifting the front of the saddle pad to create an air pocket between the blanket and your horse's mane.

Worn under the belly of his horse to the girth or thickness. Run the latigo or tie strap through the cinch ring and D-ring (ring gear) twice. Tighten the strap so it is just enough against the belly of his horse. Then, create a cinch knot loosely tied. To make the knot, pull to one side of Latigo D-ring, the cross on top and run through the D-ring again. Then pull the end of the Latigo down through the loop you created.

Now slowly tighten the cinch so it's nice and cozy around the stomach of the horse behind the front legs. RCA is snug enough so that you can only insert a finger between the RCA and the belly of the horse. Before tightening the cinch, make sure the blanket is in the middle and RCA direct or twisted. RCA has not rub or cut into the horse's front legs. Tighten the knot and tighten the cinch strap end through the array Latigo tie in front of the saddle.

If you are behind the cinch, then attach to the front cinch is tight - back cinch should be near the stomach of the horse so that it does not stick with a brush or twigs, but not strictly (the hands should be able to accommodate flat between the RCA and the horse). May have another strap attached behind the front cinch cinch cinch to avoid interference with the horse behind the hind legs.

Then walk around the relaxation (some horses eat the stomach and lungs for the first time in the chair making it impossible to tighten the strap) and ensure that no loose skin is stuck in the belt. Then tighten the belt to make sure it is closer to sign (do not want the saddle to slide during assembly or riding). Pull the legs of his horse forward for all pinch the skin below the belt.

Adjust the brackets so that when you stand on the saddle, there are only about two finger widths between you and the saddle. In general, you can adjust the correct length of stirrup by placing your hand on top of the wing saddle and make sure the stirrups are long enough to reach your armpit.
